From corrugated board to integrated packaging production
Bayındır Ambalaj began operating in Bursa in 1999, producing packaging from corrugated board. With its first automotive project in 2001, the automotive industry took on a decisive role in the company's development; long-standing collaborations with OEMs and suppliers laid the foundation of our expertise in product-specific packaging engineering.
In 2010, an investment in low-density polyethylene production added bubble film, polyethylene bags, shrink film and PE foam products to our production range. This step enabled the transition to an integrated model able to design and produce the outer packaging, divider system and inner protection a product needs within a single corporate structure.
Today, we serve our customers in Türkiye and Europe through our headquarters in Bursa, our production sites in Bursa, Sakarya and Plovdiv, and our European transfer warehouse in France.

History
From 1999 to today
A journey that began with corrugated board production in Bursa now continues in three countries.

1999
Bayındır Ambalaj was founded in Bursa, producing packaging from corrugated board.

2001
The first automotive project was launched.

2002
The Sakarya packaging plant began operating.

2005
Production moved to the new facility in the Nilüfer Organised Industrial Zone.

2010
Plastic packaging production began; the plastics group started operating under the name Bayındır Plastik.

2011
The first export to Europe was made.

2012
Production capacity was increased by moving to a two-shift working pattern.

2013
A company was established in Bulgaria for European operations.

2014
Our glass and sunroof packaging and dashboard box designs received Crescents and Stars for Packaging awards.

2015
The first WorldStar and AsiaStar awards were received; the packaging plant in Plovdiv moved to its current facility.

2018
Our acoustic box and divider design received a Crescents and Stars for Packaging award.

2019
Our acoustic part box design received a WorldStar award.

2020
Our digital printing infrastructure was expanded; the carton hygienic waste box with pedal won the Gold Award at the Crescents and Stars for Packaging competition.

2021
Production and purchasing processes were digitalised with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

2022
The carton hygienic waste box with pedal received a WorldStar award; we became a packaging supplier for domestic electric vehicle projects in Türkiye.

2024
Our locking pizza box design received a Crescents and Stars for Packaging award.
