Material and approach

Light, strong, recyclable

Corrugated board is a recyclable packaging material made by placing a fluted layer between flat paper layers, offering high strength relative to its weight.

We source corrugated sheets in a range of flute types and paper grades from selected suppliers, and turn them into product-specific packaging systems through structural design, cutting, printing and assembly processes.

This experience, built up since 1999, centres on solutions that call for engineering beyond standard boxes: the right board selection, the right structural design and a product-specific interior layout so that heavy and sensitive products are transported safely.

Typical use
Heavy and bulky products, high stacking; tray-and-lid systems.

Solution groups

From boxes to heavy-duty systems

Each group is designed afresh to suit the product's dimensions, weight and shipping conditions.

  • A corrugated box with an insert shaped for the part

    Product-specific boxes

Locking, lidded or windowed structures to suit the product's dimensions and shape; from FEFCO styles to original designs.

  • A corrugated grid separator, alone and inside a box

    Divider systems

Partitions shaped to the product's geometry so that several products are transported without touching each other.

  • Tray-and-lid packaging holding a bonnet panel

    Tray-and-lid systems

Bottom tray, top lid and internal divider for large, flat parts such as doors, bonnets, glazing and boot lids.

  • A heavy part on a pallet protected by a corrugated sleeve and foam corners

    Heavy-duty and palletised packaging

Body and perimeter reinforcement made of BCA board; combined solutions with wooden pallets, edge protectors and lids.

  • Electronic boards in a black ESD-coated corrugated box

    ESD-protective packaging

Packaging for electronic components and wiring harnesses made of board coated with a special paint that protects against electrostatic discharge.

  • Spare parts lined up in a long partitioned box

    Spare parts and shipping packaging

Series-produced packaging that carries your brand identity and suits your warehouse and shelving layout.

  • Digitally printed corrugated boxes

    Printed packaging

Solutions that bring your corporate identity to your packaging, in series production and through digital printing.

Systems shaped around the product

A selection of the corrugated packaging we have developed, from lighting units and body panels to battery modules and spare parts.

  • Six headlamp units in a cellular separator

    Headlight packaging

With product-shaped dividers, each headlight is carried in its own slot.

  • Tray-and-lid packaging holding a bonnet panel

    Bonnet tray-and-lid system

One-piece tray and lid for body panels with large, sensitive surfaces.

  • Battery modules in layered trays

    Battery module packaging

Tray-and-lid system with layered internal supports for energy storage modules.

  • 3D layout of pallets packed without gaps in an open container

    Container loading plan

Packaging dimensions are designed together with the container and pallet layout.

  • Spare-part boxes with folded inserts holding the parts

    Spare parts packaging

Numbered, layered module structure for a large number of parts.

  • A heavy part on a pallet protected by a corrugated sleeve and foam corners

    Palletised heavy-part packaging

For large, heavy parts, with a wooden pallet and a foam support frame.

From analysis to series production

Our packaging engineering process
  1. 01

    Analysis

The product's dimensions, weight, stacking height and shipping conditions are assessed.

  2. 02

    Structural design

The board and flute type are selected; the outer packaging and interior layout are modelled in 3D.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Produced without a die using digital cutting and tested with the actual product.

  4. 04

    Series production

The approved prototype moves into series production with the same board and dimensions.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

All questions

Our engineering team recommends the flute type after assessing the product's weight, stacking height and shipping distance. As a general guide, E or B flute is preferred for light and printed packaging, C or BC flute for general shipping packaging, and seven-layer BCA board for heavy-duty applications.

An image of the product and its approximate dimensions are usually enough to prepare the first design proposal. Sharing a technical drawing or 3D data (STEP, etc.) speeds up the design process and makes it more accurate. Where possible, we also recommend sending us a sample of the product for prototype testing.

Prototype lead time varies from project to project depending on the product's structure and the complexity of the packaging. Because we produce corrugated prototypes on our digital cutting equipment without the need for a cutting die, this time is significantly shorter. We share a project-specific schedule with you once we have assessed your request.

Yes. By coating the surface of corrugated sheets with a special paint that protects against electrostatic discharge, we produce ESD-protective box and divider systems for electronic components that are sensitive to static electricity.

Yes. The outer packaging, divider system, PE foam, bubble film and bags are designed by the same engineering team to fit together, and delivered in a single shipment.

Yes. Our corrugated packaging can be recycled in the paper waste stream.
