1What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. They can be used for different purposes, such as making the site work, keeping it secure or tracking visitor behaviour. This policy covers the cookies and similar technologies used on the website of Bayındır Ambalaj San. ve Tic. A.Ş.
2Our approach
We have designed our website to keep the collection of personal data to a minimum:
- No cookies are used on our site for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Google Analytics is used for visit statistics, but it is loaded only if you give your consent. If you do not give consent, no request is sent to Google.
- Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server. The only exception is the map on the Contact page: this page loads a map from Google Maps.
- Unless you give your consent, content pages (home page, solutions, industries, company pages) use no cookies at all; strictly necessary cookies are used only on pages containing a form, to keep the form secure.
3Cookies we use
The following cookies and browser storage entry are used on our site. Strictly necessary ones are always set; statistics cookies are set only with your consent:
| Ad | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
bayindir-ambalaj-session | Strictly necessary cookie | Maintaining the session; only on the Contact and Request a quote pages | 120 minutes |
XSRF-TOKEN | Strictly necessary cookie | Protecting forms against forged requests (CSRF); only on form pages | 120 minutes |
cerez-tercihi | Browser storage (not a cookie) | Remembering your choice in the cookie consent box: decision, policy version and date. Not sent to our server | Until you delete it; you are asked for your preference again when the policy is updated |
_ga | Statistics cookie (subject to consent) · Google Analytics | Distinguishing visitors from one another to compile visit statistics | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Statistics cookie (subject to consent) · Google Analytics | Maintaining the session state | 2 years |
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to operate securely and are not subject to explicit consent. Google Analytics cookies, on the other hand, are set only when you select "I accept" in the cookie consent box; if you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
4Google Analytics
If you give your consent, we use the Google Analytics service to understand how our site is used and to improve it. This service is provided by Google; the data collected may be processed on Google's servers outside Türkiye. We do not use the data for advertising purposes and we keep Google's advertising features disabled.
For information on how Google processes data, please see the Google Privacy Policy.
5Google Maps
On our Contact page, we use an embedded map from Google Maps to show the location of our facilities. When you open this page, your browser loads the map from Google's servers; in doing so, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google, and Google may set its own cookies. No map is loaded on the other pages of our site.
6Third-party links
The social media links on our site (e.g. LinkedIn) are plain links only, not embedded content or sharing scripts; no information is sent to these platforms when the page loads. When you click a link, the platform's own cookie and privacy policies apply.
7Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preference at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
When you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics is no longer loaded from the next page onwards. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, our form pages may not work.
8Your personal data
For the data processed through cookies and your rights in this regard, please see the Privacy notice.
