1Data controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the data controller is Bayındır Ambalaj San. ve Tic. A.Ş. ("Bayındır Ambalaj"). This notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform; it is updated when necessary, and the current version is published on this page.
2Personal data processed
On our website, the personal data listed below is processed only in the situations listed below. No cookies are used on our website for advertising or marketing purposes.

3Purposes of processing personal data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the general principles set out in Article 4 of the KVKK, solely for and limited to the following purposes:
- Evaluating your quote request, preparing a packaging proposal and sending you the quote
- Responding to your contact requests
- Concluding your requests under the KVKK
- Carrying out information security processes and protecting the website and forms against misuse
- If you give consent, measuring statistically how the website is used, and improving it
- Fulfilling obligations arising from legislation
4Legal grounds and method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically, directly from you through the information you enter in the forms, and by automated means through server logs. This data is processed on the following legal grounds listed in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- Processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (5/2-c): evaluating the quote request and preparing the quote
- Processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation (5/2-ç): retaining server access logs for the period required by legislation and responding to requests
- Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (5/2-f): information security and responding to contact requests
- Your explicit consent (5/1): visit statistics with Google Analytics. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
5Transfer of personal data
Your personal data is not transferred to third parties for marketing or any other purpose, and is not sold. Your data may be shared with authorised public institutions and organisations only where required by law and to the extent requested.
Our website runs on the servers of a hosting provider whose services we use; this provider stores the data only on our behalf and in line with our instructions, in its capacity as a data processor.
If you consent to visit statistics, the data collected for that purpose is transferred to our service provider Google; if you open the Contact page, the data required to load the map is transferred to Google. This data may be processed on Google's servers abroad. These transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
6Retention periods
Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of that period, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Session records are deleted within two hours at the latest. The periods and methods are explained in detail in the Personal data retention and destruction policy.
7Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
As a data subject, by applying to Bayındır Ambalaj, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about the processing if your data has been processed,
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred,
- request rectification if the data is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
- request erasure or destruction of the data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- object to a result to your detriment arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,
- claim compensation for damage if you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing of the data.
These rights are set out in Article 11 of the KVKK.
8How to submit a request
You can submit requests concerning your rights in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller and as described on the Data subject request page: in writing, delivered by hand or through a notary public to our address at NOSAB 201. Sokak No:12, Nilüfer / Bursa, or by email, signed with a secure electronic signature, to kvkk@bayindirambalaj.com.
Your requests are concluded free of charge as soon as possible, depending on the nature of the request, and within thirty days at the latest. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
