Divider systems: preventing contact between parts
Interior layout solutions that allow parts with sensitive surfaces to be transported in the same pack without touching one another.

The outer box of a pack protects the product from external influences; however, when several parts are carried in the same box, the main risk is often contact between the parts. Divider systems eliminate this contact by giving each part its own compartment.
When are they used?
Parts with painted, coated or glass surfaces
Parts fed to the assembly line in fixed quantities
Long-distance and stacked shipments
What does the design take into account?
The divider dimensions are derived from the part's 3D data; compartment spacing is set so that the part's most sensitive surface does not touch anything at any point. The design is tested with the actual part on a prototype produced by digital cutting and moves into series production after approval.
